Timings

17:00     Event village opens

18:00     Wellbeing Walk starts (2km)

18:30     Wellbeing Run starts (5.5km)

21:00     Venue closes

Transport

Please use public transport where possible. There is a Tram station on Bury Old Road, which gives direct access to Heaton park, and a number of bus services.

Excellent public transport (Tram links and buses)

Car Parking is available but please avoid driving where possible.

Limited parking is available via Sheepfoot Lane, M8 4LZ. Use WhatThreeWords ///rival.desk.potato and follow directional signage.

Baggage

Bags can be dropped and stored securely at the baggage tent

Come ready to run or walk as changing facilities are not available

Please collect your bags before 20:30


Food & Drink 

Food stalls and bars for eveyone before and after the event

Teams coordinators can pre-purchase vouchers to give to team members for £15.50/pp

Accessibility

Wheelchair participation is actively encouraged. Email info@citywellbeingseries.com for more information

If your period falls on event day, you can find tampons and pads at the information desk

Kit & Hydration

Please come prepared for the event, with suitable sports kit and footwear.

Due to the length of the course, water stations will not be in place. Please bring a full water bottle with you if possible.

Sadly we can't always rely on the weather, so make sure to bring some spare clothing with you, just in case!

Runner Numbers

You must wear your issued runner number on the day.

Do not swap, copy or change this number. Please do not give it to another colleague if you cannot attend.

If your runner number has not arrived, visit the information desks at the event village for a replacement.

Please fill in the information on the back of your runner number.

Additional Info

Event packs (your bib numbers etc) will be posted to the Team Coordinator in advance 

Any sign-ups 2-weeks prior to the event will need to collect their bib numbers from the information desk

Team branded t-shirts can be purchased to look the part

Walking lunches - take turns to plot a route

Get off 1 bus / tram stop early before you go to work
