Participation Experience
Welcome pack:
- Digital welcome with training guidance and content on the science and logic of the meditation.
- A digital profile to log practice - with rewards and gamification badges
Reflect & Log:
During practice and after the event meditation, participants can log their estimate of mind-wandering ratio into their profile for their own records and our broader research to help improve meditation.
Event Day - 22nd October:
- One city. One day. 9 minutes of shared silence across Greater Manchester.
- 3 rounds of meditation x 3 minutes each. 1-minute rest between each round.
- Guidance will be offered for all to follow.
- 3 times of day will be offered depending on your routine. e.g. 8am, 12pm, 6pm
- Take part anywhere. No experience needed.

Participants will be able to donate charity through the process.

The event has been developed through work with our partners Oxford Mindfulness and their Oxford University backed science to help people understand the logic of meditation. Building on the principle that running, walking, meditation and mindfulness are the simplest tools at our disposal to support wellbeing and help prevent wellbeing issues.
